WARRANTY FOR NEW egriTech EQUIPMENT (Australia)

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW – The statement below this paragraph applies if (and only to the extent that) the Purchaser has acquired or will acquire Equipment as a “consumer” for the purposes of the Australian Consumer Law (and that Equipment is of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption). Unless the context otherwise requires, terms used in this paragraph (A) have the meanings given to them in the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), but a reference to “our goods”, is a reference to relevant Equipment that egriTech or an authorised dealer supplies to the Purchaser, and a reference to “you” is a reference to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”). This statement overrides anything to the contrary in the paragraphs following it.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
