Compact living that delivers independence, flexibility, and sustainability
The idea of living in a smaller space once seemed like a compromise. These days, it’s become a conscious choice — and for many Australians, it’s a life-changing one.
Our Tiny House division grew out of countless conversations with people who wanted something different. They weren’t chasing square metres; they were chasing freedom. Freedom from debt, from wasted space, and from the endless cycle of building more than they need.
At Egritech, we saw an opportunity to take our modular expertise and apply it to the growing demand for compact, efficient living. Our tiny homes are built in South Australia, designed with precision engineering, energy efficiency, and livability in mind. Every design detail matters — from airflow to insulation to how natural light moves through the space.
A tiny house isn’t just a downsized version of a standard home. It’s an entirely different way of thinking about living. The structure has to balance portability with durability, comfort with simplicity, and aesthetics with sustainability. That challenge excites us.
Each build is crafted with Australian materials and techniques we’ve refined across our other divisions. Steel frames provide strength without excess weight, while carefully selected cladding and joinery ensure longevity. Inside, every centimetre serves a purpose — built-in storage, multifunctional furniture, and thoughtful design touches that make small spaces feel big.
But what makes these homes special isn’t just how they’re built — it’s what they represent. For some people, a tiny house is a stepping stone into property ownership. For others, it’s an eco-friendly retreat or a solution to the housing shortage in regional towns. We’ve seen families, retirees, and young professionals all find their version of freedom through these designs.
There’s also a sustainability story here. Smaller footprints mean fewer materials, less energy use, and reduced waste. When combined with solar and off-grid options, these homes have an incredibly light environmental impact.
The appeal of tiny houses goes beyond trend — it’s about reclaiming control over how we live. They remind us that comfort doesn’t depend on size, but on quality, intention, and design.
What started as a niche market has become a genuine movement. And for us, being part of that shift is rewarding. We get to build homes that inspire people to live with purpose — proving that sometimes, less truly is more.
